Terms of Sale – Ticketing and Services

The following terms (the “Terms of Sale”) govern all ticket purchases for shows or events presented at the Pavillon des arts et de la culture de Coaticook. By purchasing a ticket from the Pavillon’s Box Office or through its Website, you are deemed to have accepted these Terms of Sale.

Tickets

  1. The ticket price is set by the Pavillon and is in Canadian dollars. Service fees are included in the price of each ticket and are calculated as follows: $3 + applicable taxes per ticket.
  2. The Pavillon may provide ticketing services to event providers. In such cases, service fees are set at $4 + applicable taxes per ticket and are included in the ticket price.
  3. In the event of a lost or forgotten ticket, the Pavillon’s Box Office may, after standard verification procedures, issue a duplicate ticket. A fee of $2 per ticket applies for reprinting lost or forgotten tickets
  4. The Pavillon allows the purchase of a maximum of eight (8) regular‑price tickets per client (whether an individual or a corporation) for all performances of the same show or event, even if the client holds multiple accounts with the Pavillon or if purchases were made through the client’s representatives. For Pavillon members, purchases are limited to one (1) member‑price ticket per client.

    An Event Provider may impose a lower limit on the number of tickets sold to a single client for all performances of the same show or event. In such cases, the Event Provider’s limit prevails.

    The Pavillon and the Event Provider reserve the right, at their sole discretion and without notice, to cancel any ticket purchases they reasonably suspect exceed the applicable ticket limit or attempt to circumvent it by using multiple accounts, third‑party names, or any other means.

    Online purchases must be made using a Visa or MasterCard credit card. Debit cards are also accepted when the transaction is completed directly at the Pavillon’s Box Office counter.

    All purchases are subject to approval by the Pavillon and by the financial institutions that issue the accepted credit or debit cards, as well as their payment processors.

  5. The customer must carefully verify the show title, date, and ticket category BEFORE completing the purchase. NO REFUNDS, EXCHANGES, OR CANCELLATIONS are possible once the sale is finalized. The show schedule, dates, and times are subject to change without notice. In the event of any discrepancy between the information provided during a reservation or purchase made through another ticketing system and the information recorded in the Pavillon Box Office system, the latter shall be deemed the only accurate and valid information. If, under exceptional circumstances, tickets must be exchanged, the Pavillon Box Office will issue new tickets and the applicable service fees set forth herein will apply.
  6. When purchasing tickets, the Pavillon Box Office system may offer the option to select specific seats using an interactive seating chart. The interactive seating chart is available only for purchases made on a desktop or laptop computer, but it may be disabled during on-sale periods at the request of a producer or due to technical issues. When a customer makes a purchase using a mobile device or tablet, or when the interactive seating chart is disabled for the aforementioned reasons, the Pavillon Box Office system will then offer the best available seats in the venue based on the selected ticket category. The Pavillon assumes no responsibility for the availability of the interactive seating chart or for the selection and quality of seats offered by the Pavillon Box Office system in the absence of the interactive chart.
  7. Ticket purchases on our Website must be made by credit card. In this case, you must complete all fields in the reservation form and provide your name, mailing address, email address, and all required information appearing on the credit card used for the purchase. Purchases made in the name or at the address of a third party are not permitted.
  8. The Event Provider occasionally offers discounts or reductions on certain ticket categories. These discounts or reductions may apply to one or more purchasing methods. They are generally time‑limited and do not apply to purchases made prior to the discount or reduction offer.
  9. Ticket Delivery

Delivery fees may apply and are determined as follows:

  • Electronic tickets: no delivery fee;
  • Tickets picked up at the box office: no fee;
  • Tickets sent by mail: $2.00 per order.

    Less than seven (7) days before the performance, tickets other than electronic tickets can no longer be sent by regular mail. These tickets must then be picked up at the Pavillon Box Office. Only the holder of the credit card used for the reservation may pick up the tickets. Upon presentation of this card and a piece of identification, tickets may be picked up 48 hours after the reservation. If the show takes place within this timeframe, the tickets will be available at the Pavillon Box Office on the day of the performance. In the event of a show cancellation, ticket refunds are processed at the point of purchase, using the original payment method and according to the terms set by the Event Provider.

  1. The Pavillon assumes no responsibility if it or a customer is unable to complete a reservation or transaction due to a failure or error in the Pavillon’s computer or ticketing system, the Internet network, the Pavillon Box Office telephone network, or any other ticket sales network. Furthermore, the Pavillon is not responsible for the cancellation of a show resulting from a protest, fire, natural disaster, or any other force majeure event.
  2. The Pavillon reserves the right to cancel a ticket and the associated transaction if the ticket price displayed is incorrect, whether due to a technical failure of the Website, human error, or any other cause.
  3. A ticket becomes invalid as soon as the Pavillon has reasonable grounds to believe it has been falsified or that the information on it has been altered, or as soon as a sworn police report has been filed stating that it was stolen. The Pavillon reserves the right to deny entry to anyone holding a stolen, falsified, or non‑compliant ticket.
  4. A ticket may not be assigned, sold, resold, or transferred, with or without compensation, unless its owner has first obtained written consent from the Pavillon or the Event Provider, except as permitted by law. For greater certainty, a customer is authorized to transfer a ticket to another person (the “Beneficiary”) by notifying the Pavillon. The transfer conveys only the right to attend the performance or event indicated on the ticket; the original purchaser retains all other related rights, including the right to obtain a refund in the event of cancellation. In return, the Beneficiary must comply with all obligations applicable to persons attending shows or events at the Pavillon under these Terms of Sale.
  5. Complimentary tickets or any other tickets with no monetary value cannot be exchanged or refunded.
  6. Gift certificates cannot be exchanged or refunded.
