Simon Delisle

You might think you don’t yet know Simon Delisle, but you’ve probably heard his work before. Deslile cemented his status in the comedy world as the author of many projects (including one-man shows such as those of Rachid Badouri, Mariana Mazza, Dominic and Martin, Emmanuel Bilodeau; numerous Just for Laughs galas with Laurent Paquin, Adib Alkhalidey, Patrick Groulx, Michel Barette and Phil Bond; Olivier Martineau’s ComediHa! and 20th anniversary galas, Piment fort and much more). He is in high demand for many projects as a designer, writer and script supervisor.

A 2010 graduate of the École nationale de l’humour, Simon is first and foremost a comedian who has been honing his craft as a stand-up comedian for more than 12 years. He has performed more than 2,000 shows throughout Quebec, Canada and France. Simon has taken part in all of Quebec’s major comedy festivals, in addition to opening for Jean-Michel Anctil on tour. GRAND GAGNANT – LE PROCHAIN STAND-UP (NOOVO)

Simon Delisle was the big winner of the LE PROCHAIN STAND-UP comedy competition, Noovo’s most-watched new show in the fall of 2020! No fewer than 36 up-and-coming comedians took turns competing over 13 weeks to impress judges Louis Morissette, Mariana Mazza and P-A Méthot. Simon went all out and took home first place, proving with flying colours that he had the makings of a Quebec comedy great.
