Jordane Labrie & Pierre-Hervé Goulet

Programme double
Door opening at 19H

Jordane Labrie
Inspired by a cross-Canada tour on Via Rail trains, 12 jours was produced by Jeannot Bournival (Fred Pellerin) at his St-Élie-de-Caxton studio. It took 12 days to cross the country by rail from east to west, long enough to write and compose 11 songs with guitarist Clément Desjardins. The resulting album is a highly refined reflection of wide open spaces, life on the rails and everything the artists experienced along the way. From the atmospheric title track to the gentle finale provided by “Un feu tôt le matin,” by way of the catchy first single “Regardez devant” and the highly emotional “Vertige,” 12 jours evokes freedom and love, all wrapped up in a folk sound that perfectly suits Jordane’s warm voice.
